Maybe lose a % of your profession's base energy per second?
Also disable all profession attributes, especially Soul Reaping, Mysticism and Leadership. Zealous weapons having no effect and -1 energy items actually increase the energy degen.
Alter the skills a bit (quick stab):
Skill. You deal 60...135 physical damage to all adjacent foes. Two random struck foes are also knocked down for 2 seconds. 15 second recharge.
Ursan Roar - Shout. For 2...5 seconds, all enemies in the area are Weakened and all allies deal +4...10 damage per attack. 25 second recharge.

An UB can't do much alone. He still needs healing, so how about 50% less benefit from healing, can't be target of friendly spells/enchantments or that friendly spells targeting you cost 50% more energy.
This will make the team suffer and the Ursan still a viable option, though less attractive.

reduce cast time on all skills to 1/4 second. reduce recharge of skills to 2 seconds. make the shout and ims last 1 hour.

I don't know, i personally take ursan to use as an emergency skill, for bad pulls and multiple attackers in my back line. Other than that, i don't use it very much because it's kind of boring to just spam three buttons.

I think my nerf to Ursan would be to leave the skills as cheap as they are but give the entire form a drawback; for example right now it's "You have +10...20 armor and +100...200 maximum Health." How about "You have -40...20 armor (minimum 40), +50...100 maximum Health, and 30 maximum energy."

Another crazy idea, instead of anet making yet another skill completely useless and unused, make it so only one or two people in a group can equip UB at the same time so people would have to decide who in a group is going to ursan thus making a team instead of a mob.

and bigger recharge.
but i personally would say just remove all blessing from the game, may seem drastic, some one in toa said "it encourages teams" , well thats a lot of shizzle, i much preferd doing the deep, urgoz, fow, uw, doa, general missions and pve'ing properly, as aposed to 6 ursans and 2 HB's who only have to spam seeds alot on ursans.
cant really talk though i do HB for usans, despite it being quick and easy i dont like it.

problem: ursan has replaced Tanking and Nuking as professions, and made all other front or mid line professions useless.
nerf: reduce damage, or increase recharge time, or reduce health benefit, or make into a boss recharging signet, or any combination of the above.
Every elite mission area in the game is currently running Ursan builds. All other builds are DEAD. I haven't been to Urgoz's but I'm sure they could abuse it there too. Ursan is an insult to the fan base. I own every expansion including the mini-expansion, and I am fully capable of determining when and if I'm going to buy GW2, WITHOUT the need for neglect based or intentional destruction of the original game.
1 huge mistake has ruined gaming for months straight now. This is worse than Rune Hacking, material trader loopholing, and the SS/55 farming plagues, and it's destroying this game rapidly.
The omission to fix this problem is either an obvious total failure of the staff, or an even more obvious way to saturate player ambition prior to the release of their expansion. For the insult and attempt to manipulate the market, I am recommending nobody buy into GW2, and my argument to them is:
how long will it be until they decide you need to buy GW3, and then, will they release:
Ursan Form 2!
Give me a F@$%&* break, we are consumers not morons. Brand loyalty has held this franchise through the thick (prophecies) and thin (factions), and you are RUINING your brand by identifying yourselves as either incompetent or greedy. Fix it fast or many just like me will keep our cash for something more honest. People are noticing when you consider our income disposable.
Currently: GW is about as honest as HGL.
